Been to Phuket; not all that many tourists around (just the ones after a thai bride it would seem :/ ) Had to walk miles to get to a bit of beach that wasnt privately owned by some massive hotel chain. Also just getting over my nasty sickness bug, so not all that happy. Koh Phi Phi - a brilliant place - still pretty destroyed by the tsunami, but getting back on its feet, everyone helps out - picking up rubble and rubbish, making a memorial garden that kinda thing. Wish I could have stayed longer here.... But it was off to Krabi, before getting the bus over to Surratani and night boat to Koh Phagnan, where we arrived at a ridiculous hour in the morning before everything was open. Found a decent place to stay with a hammock and they even gave us an extra fan - brilliant!
