The day started when we joined the Disneyland train! It was amazing with windows shaped like Mickey Mous's head, they had small statues of different characters and the standing handles were also of mickey. It certainly got both of us into the Disney spirit!

When we arrived there were lots of posters and statues along the walkway - it was magical! Emma brought my ticket into the park as part of my Birthday present :) Once inside the park, there were loads of different rides and the map of the park was huge! We first went to Tomorrowland where we went on Space Mountain; it was awesome!We also became Buzz Lightyears space cadets where we could shoot the badies.

We then headed to Toystory Land. It was amazing, we met Woody and Jessie, as well as going on the ride RC racer. The toy soldiers were class, they were so in characters and doing a little show. After this we headed through the fairytale castle and to the Mainstreet, where we were in poll position for the character parade! It was magical with most of the big stars making an apperance :) I loved it!!

Of the parade had finished, we headed over to Adventureland, which is the home to Tarzan and the Lion King. Luckily we got to it in time to see the musical of the Lion King. It was incredible! with huge Simba on pride rock, an elephant and giraffe. The only weird thing about the musical was the part when Raffike would speak, there would be two other random monkies that would repeat everything she said in Chinese, it was quite off putting and definatly not in the Lion King!! It was an incredible show though!

Opposite the hall was a jungle river cruise which was made hilarious by the tour guide who dodged the fake elephants and getting us all wet by running into waterfalls! It was so much fun!

We then found a new land called Grizzly Gulch, which was a wild west theme. It had a wild west prison and a mountain runaway train mine car ride! The ride was incredible! so much fun! One of my favourite rides! We walked through Mystic Point, but it didnt look great so carried on wondering around and went into Fantasyland to meet and greet the main characters of Disneyland. We met and got our photo taken with; Pluto, Goofy and Mickey Mouse. It was so much fun, for an hour we became 10 years old again!!

After getting our snapshots, we went to see how long the queues were for our favourite rides, but they were all over an hour wait!! So we went to have a gander in the shops and got the train back. It was so much fun! Such an incredible days and an amazing birthday present!! I loved every minute!
