Ok..........first glitch! I have just spent half an hour writing about day one on the plane and our arrival in Paris and lost the lot when I went off the page to see why the photos were taking too long to load!

As I am very tired I can't bring myself to repeat it all again. I am now going to lie flat and sleep and start tomorrow! Suffice it to say that the flights were long and 21+ hours in the air, plus in and around airports is a damn long time. All in all we made it and had a move to premium economy on the upper deck for one flight and exit row seats for the other.

The taxi ride in gave us glimpses of The Champs Élysées; the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and more!

Hugs and kisses from Jen and David on arrival and we took our very excited foursome for coffee, drinks and dinner in and around Montparnasse.
