Welcome to my travelling blog! I am not a blogger, managed to use twitter for a grand total of a week, but thought I should make the effort since I'm soon to be exploring the world!!! I will endeavour to keep this as up to date as is possible so, those of you who care to, can join me (sort of) on my travels!

So, tomorrow I head off on a big, crazy, omg, what-am-I-doing adventure. It has come round so incredibly quickly, but I guess that's good; haven't had time to worry too much. I have brewing in my stomach some sort of sicky concoction of nervousness, excitement but mostly apprehension. I haven't a clue what it going to happen over the next 6 months, only that I will be visiting some awesome sights and places in South America, Australia and NZ, and probably stressing about my serious lack of clothing squeezed into my rucksack, spiders in my tent, and the state of my hair after 2 months of trekking!

Saying many goodbyes have been predictably teary, but have shown me how incredibly lucky I am to have such a wonderfully supportive family and friends. Thanks team.

Think of me tomorrow at 7.30pm; the journey begins with spending 19 hours in a plane.
