Sitting at Jakarta airport waiting to board our flight back home to Denmark , a short trip of 22 hours and just 2 transit,one in Singapore and one in Istanbul ! Just a few hours ago we were still bathing in WaterBoom, a big waterpark with slides, twisters, Boomblaster and all other kinds of fun water rides. The kids were in heaven .Jessica and I loved it too, allthough it was raining most of the day , and when it rains here, it really poors down ! It is rain season but we have been very lucky it has rained only once or twice during day time since we arrived . The night is another matter but who cares ! Last time it rained we were driving from Lovina to Sanur , a 3 hour trip through mountains and dense forrest. We stopped in the mountains at a small coffee plantation just when the rain stopped. Here we were introduced to many different coffee types, like ginger coffee or coconut coffee but the main attraction was the Kopi Luwak, the most expensive coffee in the world. Just 3000 dkk or 400 euro for 500 grams ! The reason is that the green coffeebean has been eaten and partly digested by the Luwak, a small nocturnal mammal not bigger than a cat, before being recollected in the excrement and then processed like regular coffee. The bitterness in the coffee disappears in the digestion process and a more smooth cup of coffee is gained . It tasted to me like a nice cup of coffee and I have nothing more to say about that !

Thereafter we drove directly to Mai Mesaree villas in Sanur, our new home for the final 5 days. The villa was great, nice big pool 10X4 m. and a very nice living area, but it was located at little bit far from the beach (around 10 minutes in a taxi, not in walking distance), where we went every day because it was spectacular. Nice crystal clear water and nice fine brown sand. Since it was pleasant we just spent the last days relaxing at the beach just making small variations on which beach restaurant to dine in, or which beach club we would spend the day at. Five days disappeared ,relaxing, bathing, eating ,drinking fruit shakes, enjoying the nice hot sun and just trying to grasp the idea that the weather is so fantastic here all year around, and where we live it is not ! all year around.
