Our first stop was Lorne, to ease us into our trip and get the kids in the rhythm of doing school on the road. We camped on the Lorne Foreshore. We were 20 steps from the beach. Although quite chilly the sun was out for most of our stay. Except for 2 days where the steady downpour highlighted the need for a rain coat inside the van. After many hours of investigation and a bit of silicone, we were dry once again. We visited Erskine Falls, The treetop walk at the Otway's. Riley had the time of his life at the Lego exhibition in Queenscliffe. We also went to the Glow Worms which we loved until Cameron mentioned leeches which might be on us. We made lots of friends; all were of the bird variety!!
