Got up late and then dropped bags off ready for sapa! Went to ho chi min museum etc but all closed b*****, went to temple of literature, could not find good food so had a satisfying lotteria! Got soaked trying to find a cinema, couldn't find for ages so missed film! Annoying! Food then met trip peeps ready for train to sapa!

Got to Hanoi at 6am, after beers in the restaurant cart the night before! Checked in early, hotel was above a Market, very noisy, walked round the old quarter, met cullum for lunch before he went on a iv drip! Booked sapa for tomo, puppet show and beers at the famous Hanoi backpackers!

Got an early sleeper bus to hue, walked round/cyclo round sights in old town, very hot, very tired when we got back so just had a nice meal!

Day at the beach, really nice, 80p for a sun bed! Hired cranky old bikes to get there, beautiful local pork dish before bed!

Arrived at 10am, after sharing a 6 sleeper with 4 other adults and 2 kids all night! Woken up to corn being spread open in my face! Hotel picked us up and took to hoi an, on the way saw where the beach football was being played in denang! got to the best hotel yet the sunflower, we dropped our bags and went straight to see the old town, very pritty indeed but even better with the lanterns that night!
