Well Byron Bay was pretty much the only place I missed out on the first time and what a place! It had been hyped up by a lot of people and it was even better than I imagined...it was the picture I had of how Australia was meant to be before I came out here, friendly people, great weather, stunning beach, awsome surf, and on top of that the Arts Factory where I stayed was pretty special as well! It was pretty hippy and I tried to get spiritualized as best I could especially when I had a go at Yoga and playing the Didge which is pretty tricky! Also tried to go surfing but was hopeless and never got to stand but had a great time anyway doing some narly wipeouts...I found I was much more suited to bodyboarding as you don't actually do anything, more of the armchair mans surfing! Great place and was sad to go
