We had a leisurely breakfast bridge checking out of Granny's and heading back to the Gange to watch some more cremations. These were sad to watch but equally as fascinating. We spoke with young guy for an hour or so as we watched some of the burnings taking place. After inhaling enough ash, we headed off to walk the streets again and find the Brown Bread Bakery for some paneer and a 'Hello to the Queen' dessert. We walked back through the crazy streets to the guesthouse and headed to Varanasi airport for our flight to Delhi then onwards to Kathmandu the next morning. The flight was quite late leaving Varanasi but after some nice dry white bread, cottage cheese and a tiny bottle of water, we were well on our way to Delhi. Just before landing we were told that the weather was so bad in Delhi, and as we were running out of fuel, we had to land in Lucknow to refuel the head to Delhi. A 1 hour trip therefore turned into a 6 hour trip. With our next flight leaving early the next morning, we opted for a sleep on Delhi airports nice hard floor. Bliss.
