Thanks for all your lovely messages so far! However it's not Chinese food but Vietnamese cuisine, the locals would be most upset if you referred to their food as a cheap imitation!

Olivia I agree with your Mum, it'll be a few years yet before you take off on your own! However I have seen a number of family's that have brought their young kids out here.

Helen, yes the malaria tablets make you more vulnerable to the sun so our skin is determined to go red and blotchy before it goes brown! I'm going easy on the sun now!
