Realised that I have been neglecting your blog, probably because it makes me really depressed about the lack of holiday fun for The Spanier this year!
Little Kate and I are missing our Shu-la-la so much that we have taken to getting together for almost fortnightly pizza and then weekend crochet sessions - you need to come home soon and sort us out!
Loving the NZ pics, particularly amused by your 'spaceship' called 'Rimmer'. I had to giggle inappropriately in the office!
Stay cool you pair of crazies,
Buckets of love,

I was getting worried that there hadn't been a blog for a while, but when I was reading the Peru one I just spotted the Chile one at the bottom of the list- it is dated 2007 so I guess that is why.

I need updates.... how's South America? Assuming amazing! Miss you guys xxx

Shula, I've just been looking through the amazing photos of your parachute jump. I am SO jealous!! Well worth the wait by the looks of it, and so much prettier (and safer) than it would have been in Cuba. Well done you!
A few weeks before you did the jump, I came across a place in Milton Keynes that has an indoor skydiving tunnel, and I thought "hey cool, maybe Shula and I could go there when they get back." Hmmm .... think yours wins BIG style!
Enjoy Peru.
love Elaine x

Well, Shula, no wonder Ben thought you had broken your leg! Me, I still haven't got my jaw off the floor.

Hi guys!
We just got your postcard from Oz which Ben adored. Thank-you so much. He loves the 'Koala Brothers' on cbeebies so was very impressed with the pictures on it.
The lazy letter was fantastic - Michael and I had a good chuckle.
Missing you both, seems like a lifetime ago since we saw you in Leeds Shu. Dan ... if it wasn't for the photos on this blog we would have forgotten what you look like!!
How's the tour of S. America going?
love to you both,
Exx

Hey lovelies,
Those ocean road pics are awesome, love them! Looks like you are having lots of fun. Loved reading about your new z experiences, so the same as mine! Don't worry about the north island, the south island was a million times better anyway! Shu, who did you jump with? I had the gorgeous Czech that looked like jean christophe novelli, lush!
Keep enjoying every minute xx
Elaine
and now you can add time travelling to your belts too! Fantastic!!
New Zealand sounds perfect - glad you've really enjoyed your time there.
Ben has been watching a tv programme here about rescue helicopters. He's fascinated with it. Anyway. I told Ben that Auntie Shula had been in a helicopter. "Aww, poor Shula. How she break her leg?"
Keep safe.
love from Elaine xx

Shula! What have your mother and father been telling you all these years about jumping out of airplanes! I knew I shouldn't let you go to the opposite side of the world where I couldn't see you ...
The Sparrows
A year already?? What is that about!!! Are we jealous of your escapades whilst trundling into London and having buckets of rain? Of course not!! :)
Glad you are enjoying your travelling - can't wait for the south america installment!!!!
