Happy to hear that you arrived safely and that you are enjoying the school and surroundings. Since you left you've missed several snow storms here in the PNW, so the story of your sweaty trip to the language school in Xela won't get you much sympathy! What a delightful, marvelous, wondrous surprise to find your travels on my computer screen -- I had heard roughly that you were off for a year of wandering but did not know any details. So thoroughly thrilled that you are doing this -- wish I could be carrying your luggage for you! ALSO -- I've been meaning for WEEKS to thank you profusely and profoundly for the AMAZING Christmas ice cream set -- hand painted, lovingly put together -- people always ooh and aah at those personalized bowls. You always have the best ideas -- so thoughtful and REAL. We continue to enjoy those gorgeous Christmas placemats you made us one year, and also the hand painted candle sticks. Tina, you are SO DANG TALENTED and full of love. I will be sharing your blog entries with Karinna, who adores you so much, and we'll track you on the map.
