Forty Eighth Stop Ha Long Bay We arrived in Ha Long on the 19th of July. Ha Long Bay is a range of Islands off the East Vietnam coast. We got a Junk boat around the Islands, visited caves, jumped off the roof of the boat for a swim and slept on the boat. Forty Seventh Stop Hanoi The train to Hanoi from Ho Chi Minh takes 40 hours and was sold out. The flight was only $30 more expensive and took 4 hours. Although we would have preferred the train the plane actually worked out better as we got into Hanoi on the 17th of July. Forty Fifth Stop Chau Doc We arrived in Chau Doc on the 14th July. It is a small town in Vietnam just over the Vietnam boarder. There is not much there to do or see in the town its self but it sits on the Mekong River which has a floating village on it.
