Big man & Mrs.Big man hows things going over there? Chaing mai is the muts nuts - we recomened 'nice place 2' as our hostel of choice for there, good jungle treks too. If you head down to the night market which covers the main road on the east of the city, they make awesome banana rotties! How long you over there for? Wat the plan as it stands, sticking with thailand or heading around cambodia, nam and laos (cant remember wat you said) Same same but different ;-)

I have just seen your travel blog. I can't believe I was there with you in Bangkok 2 weeks ago or so! I am now in rainy Durham trying to write a paper on the parallels between the origins of cremation in this country and woodland burial! Hmm.
It was a pleasure to meet Adam at last: a lovely, lovely guy. Respect to him. And I am also really pleased you hooked up with Lenka again and got a double NZ whammy by meeting Caroline again too: fantastic!
When are you back? As I'll be doing research at Cambridge until early May, so I could pootle down to welcome you back in Hastings.
Keep absorbing and learning. Love to you both xxx
