Hey Guyz, I'm currently at the seaside province of Nha Trang in Vietnam, looking at going to the mud baths tomorrow and probably a booze cruise the following day. Its a damn hard life not having to get up for work AT All and having the stress levels similar to a Cat sitting in front of a warm cozy fire. Take care everyone, not sure when i'm coming home or how i'm going to survive in the Western world. Helen - I need to have an ipod nano when I get home, might even purchase one in Bangkok depending on prices, you still in Daventry?

I have just endured the 22 hour bus journey from hell. We booked a VIP coach tour from Bagkok that left at 7am and was supposed to meet the Northern town of Siem Reap in Cambodia at 7pm. The original coach to pick us up was a f***ing joke and about enough leg room to fit a dwarf, plus they turned the aircon off. It took us about 5hrs to get to a village round the corner where we stopped for about an hour and a half so that the owners of this little restaurant offered to process our visas for 30 us$. The actual figure is 20US$ but still most of the coach fell for it (apart from us and a few others which had to argue with these coach owners who were trying to tell us customs would overcharge us and we would have to wait for a long time, this turned out to be complete bulls***....obviously). After crossing the border we waited around and swapped coaches about 3 times over the course of about 3 hours then made our way into Cambodia. The next 2 and a half hours was like driving over caters in the moon (no exaggeration). People were literally bouncing off of their seats, screaming and the coach was regualrly ending up on two wheels. Eventually we stopped off at a conveniently placed restaurant in the middle of nowhere for about an hour. The continued along the same un-negotiable track for a further two hours, until we got to a point where a brdge in the road had collapsed, so everyone on the coach had to carry their bags and balance along a small beam of metal across this river then walk for 4kms in complete darkness, hoping to find a coach at the other end. We then found that the bridge we had just conquered was not in fact THE broken bridge and a HGV had rolled off of another bridge completely destroying it. Everyone, with their bags had to climb over the wrecked bridge in just torch-light narrowly escaping death. When everyone was on the other side we were told that one half of the bus had already departed and the rest of us were to be taken the rest of the way by pick up truck (Open-back van). There were 22 people and countless bags, a driver, a guide and a random, plus endless backpacks piled onto the back of this truck, with people nearly in tears. A few of us were fearing for our lives, especially considering the state of this track and negotiated a deal with a local to take half of the people and bags for $3 each. This still meant 11 people on a pick up truck each, with bags, in complete pitch black, on a track not even fit for rally driving. The groups then made the 6 hr trip in complete agony and discomfort, dust flying in our faces and generally miserable to Siem Reap. We arrived at 4:30am dirty-as-can-be and just relieved to be alive. I can honestly say that this was THE longest, most, dangerous and possibly worst day of my life.
Yay Cambodia!!!
We plan to spend three days touring the temples of Angkor starting tomorrow and am looking forward to some sortof relaxing abience. All of my limbs are bruised it hurts to sit down. Isn't this is what travellling is all about though??
Sorry if this is a big of a long email, but I actually cannot believe what happened yesterday.
You will grow to love the adventure and the unpredicability of Asia, its sometimes one of those love'hate things.

Hey Dudes, sounds like life back in he UK is pretty much back to normal. I know that I have been a bit s*** lately with updating the pics on the site and sending emails (like you really give a s*** anyway???!!). I am curently in Bangkok with Ed and Ro, and the last few weeks have been pretty raucous. I will send a circular and update the pics in the next few days, expect: Boobs, Beaches and Buckets of Whiskey. Laters People.

I'm ALIVE!! Hello Timster, how're you dude? England is whack and not in a good way. Northampton is surpasing all of my expectations of crapness at the minute, and I am a proper binge drinker, I am the stereotype, but i like it! Single life suits me and I am no longer a suicidal maniac (that only lasted about 2 weeks!) Nothing else to report, Im applying for a job at the council as working in Leicester is beginning to do my nut, its just toooooooooo far to drive everyday, oh and i got so drunk on my birthday the other week that I couldnt see and didnt realise that I hadnt met Lib or even replied to her texts until 12noon the next day. I was sick at 9.30pm outside Thomas Cook in town, then carried on drinking until 2.30, I threw an umbrella across abington street and generally made a complete show of myself!! Yay keeping the dream alive!! Come home soon i miss you x

Hey Tim Tom, am in work and im bored, everybodys gone home so am using the oppotunity to have a quiet hour on the net. Not much to report here im afraid, went back to the valleys at the weekend and had a great time catching up with my old dad and people i used to work with. Got drunk which was to be expected. This weekend im hopefully going to persuade somebody to come see the GLC with me in Birmingham...weekend after that im going to HHA in Brixton. Have just had the urge recently to listen to some hoovers and horns. Oh the shame. Was thinking of coming out to see you if i could get a cheap enough flight but they are like 400 quid so at the mo its a no im afraid! Anyway, signing off now, going to go and s*** in somebodys draw ;)

Hey Natster, sound like you're still partying hard, remember when we all went out in Northampton and you and Lib nearly got in a fight with that bird with smaller t*** than you? Well funny. I'm currentl chilling out on Ko Samui in Thailand waiting for Ro Ro to come and pay me and the LAdyboys a visit. Thailand is absolutely beautiful and the people here are so friendly. There plently of girlie bars that I'm waiting to check out, but pulling tight on the purse strings at the moment. Although it is quite tempting when you have hoards of women/lady-boys hanging out of blairing bars, smail, waving and trying to sell you cheap drink. Hang on, what the hell am I doing in an internet cafe. See you guys out there!!

Hey Nic glad to hear that you are being your sophisticated self in my absence. At least you haven't started on the gin again. Bali is absolutely amazing!!! Everything here is just so damn cheap, every second step along the beach you are offered a massage by either a twelve year old indonesian girl or an old crone so the choice is yours, the old farts tend to be cheaper although i'm not so sure about the leathery skin. You can by absolutely anything here on the streets including the obligatory watches, sunglasses, t-shirts, shorts etc. all dirt cheap. I've just brought myself a new pair of oakley sunglasses for about 2 quid and a rolex for about the same. The Rolex has already stopped once though!! Yesterday our (Temple, hot spring and botannical gardens) tour across the north of the island was interupted by scores of monkeys running riot in the road, truly bizarre. You do get lots of hassle out here because being a westerner I am just seen as a dollar sign..... Something I am quickly getting used to, as well as being able to tell them all to get the hell away from me because they're not getting my money. I will write an email soon and put up some more pics sooner. Take care everyone, time for another massage and bintang (50p beer).
