We are getting further of the beaten track, got a bus today from Singapore which I expected to go no faster then an average residential speed limit but to my pleasent surprise we scooted through immigration at the Malay boarder and hit a very new and empty motorway at worp 8! Surprising for a Malyasian bus line i thought. Anyway currently holed up in a quality litle guest house called Tony's Guest house in Malaka on the west coast of Malaysia, tony rules! Just had some really awesome sweet and soure chicken along with three Tiger Beers for about 5 quid which was more expensive then if we had eaten street food. Ate at another hostel cafe.

Just killing time now in an internet cafe which is dark and dreary surrounded by local cinwardo's playing online gaming which all look very violent (Times have changed since Age of Empires!). Also got to listen to their cheesy happy hardcore, trancy music blaring out of the speakers! Doh!

We are about to visit the night market apparently it is all about Dimm Sum, little parcels of food which are to be dipped into some sort of sauce. All very cheap and cultured apparently, 4 piece for RM1.50 which is about 27p!

Going to wander the streets tomorrow, find some interesting museum and climb St Peters ruins where there is a nice view over the town. We are not on the otherhand going to go the Maritime museum which in Vic's notes she gave me was quite frankly s***. It appears that Pip when they were here made them go and it sucked!

Anyway guys new blog when we get to KL and hoepfully some photos of Singapore and Malaysia, can't do that now as this computer has no slot for my memory card and i have no wire! lots of love T and B
