HEY!! So yeah we are in Queestown at the moment. We drove down from Christchurch in our cool toyota corona car! haha. What a machine! So yeah we drove from Christchurch to Kaikoura via Greymouth. Some spectacular scenary with huge mountains and some stunning views over the sea. From here we drove down Franz Josef next to the glacier. We walked up to both Franz Josef Glacier and Fox galcier which were both very cool. Our next stop was Wanaka which is a stunning lakeside town, with the water mirroring the moutnains behind it. Here we almost got fined for sleeping in our car in a no camping area but luckily managed to avoid this. From here we drove down to Queenstown where we have been for the past couple of days. The first day was staright into the adrenaline activities for the other two. Having already spent 400 bucks on skydive i thought i shoudl sit some of them out. So Chris did the First commercail bungy jump, whihc was off Kawareau bridge and plummedted into the river below, whilest Edd went off to do the Nevis highwire bungy into shotover canyon. The follwoing day we all went Canyoning. This involved jumping off 8 metre waterfalls into plunge pools, going down rock slides, abseiling waterfalls and climbing up throught the canyoning. Also a long zipwire, to a massive jump where we could flip off into the water. ITs all go here, so the follwoing morning Edd went off to do a Canyon swing, whihc is basically a massive swing in as canyon. He seemed less impressed with this as he was by the bungy but loved it none-the-less. As it cost to watch Edd, myself and Chris went on a much love, Kiwi Tramp throught the woods and found an out of this world mountain bike area! Absolutely Huge and incredible, Why cant we have these at home!? (probably beacsue noone would do them but still, wow!) Then we all spent the afternoon at the top of a mounatin flying down an 800 metre track on 3-wheeled skateboard things. Such good fun! Only 4 more night sleeping in Car till OZ!!! but also 1,500kms back to Christchurch. tim xxx
