The end of a lovely week in Spain spent with Neil's mum and dad at their timeshare apartment just outside Torremolinos. Just wonderful to have the warm sunshine and brilliant blue skys every day.

Mainly a leisurely week spent by the pool and on the beach but we did have a couple of days sightseeing; firstly a trip on the Benalmadena Cable Car to Mount Calamorro where we saw a birds of prey demonstration and wonderful views of the coast. The journey back down the mountain on the cable car was rather more "exciting" than on the way up as the gondolas were swaying more than we would have liked!

We also took the train from Torremolinos into Malaga to wonder around the traditional Spanish streets, look at the cathedral and visit the Picasso museum in the place of his birth. A beautiful location and very interesting but.......who knows what he was thinking when he painted some of his works of art. It became quite apparent that the different women in his life were quite influential to his work.

A traditonal paella and a couple of bottles of Spanish wine ended off a great week on the Costa del Sol.
