With only one week before departure we had a farewell party with the Wellington RATs (Riders Association of Triumph for the uninitiated) which was very kindly hosted by Damian and Catherine. We are currently in Auckland for a few days,staying with friends John and Margeret Sickling until we fly to Chile on the 15th Sept.

This is the city of Wellington,the capital of New Zealand. It is the starting point of our trip and we are in the final stages of preparation.
