Went looking for a new campground and found a couple of odd characters. Sign said no fishing but I think he had other plans, this Golden Eagle was waiting for the salmon to start running. Moose thought the green grass starting to come up was more important than paying attention to us. Will be going to this campground tomorrow. Went to Morgans Landing state campground right on Kenai River. It is a beautiful place.Wish it had been warmer! Stayed two nights and about froze. Roys head was cold (he opens the window) and his feetwere cold( blankets came untucked) and his body was sweating ( I put all the covers we had on us)!!I slept great. :)Decided to come to a city campground so we could have electric.
