Nona washed up on shore during the typhoon of the same name (creative aren't we?). After a few standoffish minutes, the resident Jack Russel Tommy decided to take up guard duty and look after Nona as one of the family. Poor Nona died later that night. Mother Nature was a bit too rough on her.
