After awaking at the extremely early hours of the morning we were all set to start our first eight hour shift of the day going from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Easy morning with little issues except the loss of the sugar meaning the usual morning coffee was left out of the daily routine. Thankfully toast was present and we saw the morning shift out with only butter to unleash on our toast. With the help of old Toby we were able to utilise our time off with the next shift starting at 12:00am. The chocolate biscuits made a worthwhile companion as we relaxed on the roof top terrace. With songs from The verve in full swing on a blue bird of a day it really was Bitter sweet. As we gazed out over the white mirror-like buildings and down to the golden sand and the restful sea it was in that moment that complete peace was found and I realised that apart from myself being a Lucky man that these Chocolate biscuits were undoubtedly some of the best chocolate biscuits I've ever had. We then headed down to our room and dozed off. I awoke to the alarm which I had set for 12:00am which indicated it was time for the second shift. I then rediscovered the meaning of first world problems as I quickly remembered that there was still no sugar meaning that a hot coffee will not be helping throughout these eight hours. With little excitement at the desk we did manage to see the eight hours through and as the next person came through the door to do there shift we quickly shuffled off to bed.
