arrive in zagreb last night on time despite train break down in slovenia. kept smiling while being transported by bus in pouring rain through slovenia. not to worry have a nice slovenian stamp in passport! hostel basic but did the job. good sleep and nice not to have to be strapped in lol. zagreb beautiful. locals have made us feel welcome. They like visitors especially us scots...! weather is warm enough to warrant donning vest and shades...... m...

arrived in paris late on -enjoyed meal and french wine before boarding night train - doodle le do! doodle le do! all aboard !! fab cabin - bunk beds, own hidden washroom and magical transformation to lounge area for breakfast. lynne had to be strapped in - well she would pick the top bunk hehee! now in munich - what a beautiful city. sun is shining and the straten beer went down a treat. well they do say when in rome and all that !!!! just about to boa...

touched down safely in the capital. maintenance on the underground so enjoyed the little detour. had lunch in 'wagamama' where the first drama of the day occurred- our friendly waiter chased us out restaurant in connection with counterfeit money...which one of you girls gave me the dodgy fiver for the 'take that' tickets? look out for us in sky news- TUC cleaners demo in trafalgar square. 'what do you want? SICK PAY- when do you want it? NOW what's weath...

Well here is a lovely picture of Edinburgh. Its approx 2 hours from our home town of bonnie Ayr. Only 3 sleeps till the big adventure kicks off. Think we'll have to invest in some Kalms as the nerves are starting to kick in. If we manage to make it to Monday without having a heart attack (Take That on Sunday!) or suffering a panic attack which lands us is A&E hooked up to oxygen then we should be fine! Let the good times roll !!!
