After a big old day of travelling we made it from Halong Bay to our next stop Hoi An. The girls couldn't wait to check out the pool so were swimming by 7:30am-certainly warm enough to contemplate swimming at this hour!

Surreal beauty in these caves

Another gorgeous day in the Bay! Today we ventured out by boat to the Hang Sung Sot caves. Once on land we rode to the base of the caves on old bikes - really hot and humid, so glad we weren't going up any major hills! We then walked up the gruelling 90 steps to get to the caves- it doesnt sound too bad but in this heat - very sweaty!! The caves had amazing stalactites and stagamites and were lit up inside- very tranquil and beautiful.

Sophie made friends with the crew who taught her how to make an elephant napkin- so cute!
