Hi everyone! We arrived here late last night (18th) after a VERY long 12hr flight! After the drama of being 12 kilos overweight on our luggage we managed to settle into our hotel and went exploring the city. Its a beautiful place. The people are the friendliest we've ever met and theres loads to see and do. We didnt get any sleep at all on the first night (we dont know if it was the time difference or because we were so excited!) On day 2 we decided to check out Little India and China Town and made the obligatory stop at Raffles for a Singapore Sling!! The hotel was fantastic - we even managed to take time out for a jacuzzi and a sauna sesh! As well as eating most of the normal stuff you'd expect, Monica decided to eat a chilli crab for dinner (plus a very big bottle of wine!) and Karen had the noodles (not very exciting but tasty none the less!) We were looking for a cab to take us back to the hotel on the second night but instead got a lift from a local rickshaw! So funny - especially because we'd had too much to drink and were very giddy (see pics)! We really would recommend coming here to anyone as it really is a great place to visit.
