14/07/2005 : Hi everyone, sorry we havent written sooner but we have not had any chance to stop!!We met up with Lorna and Ashley on Friday and have basically done everything touristy that New York has to offer in the last six days! 28/06/2005 : We arrived here this afternoon after an ok flight from Vegas. The weather here is pretty good. Its not as hot as Vegas but we're still going to top up our tans! We've already been for a little look around to check out our surroundings and to get our bearings. 25/06/2005 : We finally made it Vegas yesterday and after a lot of hastle with our accomodation we are finally settled in. The hostel we were supposed to be staying at was 30mins from the strip and was in the dodgiest neighbourhood you could imagine. 23/06/2005 : We arrived in Flagstaff which is the nearest town to the Grand Canyon on Tuesday evening. The town itself is very 'American' with little diners and old buildings everywhere. Yesterday we went on a tour of the Grand Canyon which was organised through the hostel where we are staying. It took about 1 1/2 hours to get there but when we did it was amazing.
