Hi Sam and Amy,
Hope the trip to Fraser Island has been good and the 4x4 as well, you seemed to be looking forward to that very much if you postcard and phone call was anything to go by.
Did you have a lovely birthday Sam, did you get my text. I thought of you all day long, told Nan it was you birthday, also told her that you were 23, which she could not believe, as I might add she said I did not look much older than that myself (rose coloured glasses I think, or maybe a new pair required) anyway she said happy birthday (and then promptly forgot I bet). Also told Anne that I had not got my text to you before you rang and that she had, so I was in the doghouse, on which note she laughed.......
Your postcards are up to the Fraser Island one, so I should think we are up to date, as the postmark said 11th March, so that was pretty quick I should think.
Ali was a bit disappointed that she had missed your phone call, but I told her eveything you had said, so ok with it. Besides she was over the moon (as it being comic relieft) she had dressed up (along with katherine) and had brought home about £23.00, so what with that and the £10.00 I owe her and then she managed to get £6.00 off her dad, so she has a respectful £39.00 to send off.
Big hugs Mum and Ali xxxxxxxxxx
Grandma & Grandpa
Thanks for the text. We were in John Lewis' at Solihull . We had just been to the toilets...apparently you were using a bush. Grandpa has got his wedding ring back....no divorce necessary now. Take Care. Love from us both xx

Hi guys,
Got the keys to our house on Monday - hooray! Spent all evening yesterday sand papering the walls ready for painting. Hopefully moving in properly next Saturday once the sofa has arrived! Feel so grown up now, much more different than a student house.
The worse thing is that the previous owners had a cat and this cat has been somewhat confused and tried to get in the house a few times to greet me as I come in from work! Not good. We locked the cat flap though so it can't get in!! mwahaa.
Glad to see you're having a sickingly amazing time.
Amy, did you receive your birthday cards on time? I tried to post them to you but it was about a day before you left? Thanks for ours too. Loved Matthews smily facy one. Will look forward to opening mine (i promise I haven't cheated!).
Keep up the good blogging.
Lots of love,
Rach and Matt!!

Hey All,
Chloe I think you will find that picture was copyrighted...I'll be after my payment when I return home. But you could pay me off with a bar of galaxy choc and I'll accept that as payment cos u can't get that here and the choc tastes funny too lol. I'm glad the photo made it into your project, well chuffed!
Mum: why've you got the giggles? Just the idea of us chasing goats? Amy didn't want to catch teh goat so that's why she didn't have a huge part involving chasing or lifting up the goat. And she's not fast enough lol. The horseriding round-up was great. We had to herd them in the direction we wanted them to go and shout at them in special goat language (hey up up up) and they then ignore u, so you have to get right up behind them and push em along with your horse. Kind of. There were tonnes of the things though, about 200 odd, and tyhen about 8 of us following them yelling 'hey up up up' and 'shift' and general other cries of encouragement. Lots of fun. Amy managed to do some steering on her horse but at one stage she couldn't get it to go left so they had to do a big right hand turn circle to go left. Confused the goats at least. Lots of love xx

Amy the answer to your question is 42.2. Glad you are having better weather and that you are in better accomodation. Surprised that you did the rounding up bit on a horselol. How come you did not get the job of catching the goat, did they think that you were not fast enough.

Hi Chloe,
Thanks for explaining about the drop bears, they were confusing me somewhat, although I thought they might have been made up, but I must admit they do sound a grusome as you said.
But thanks again, Ali says hi.

Hi Sam adn Amy,
As you can see we've managed to get the internet up and running again, so I can bring you up to date with whats been going on.......hummmm!!! boring things, not like yours.
Tycoon's (as ali calls it) and fancy not taking your brolly, I never go anywhere without my as it being small to fit into the bottom of my bag, ha!ha!ha!. Shame though having to cut your sailing a bit short, although it does sound a bit hit and miss, what with not manager to meet you, even though you were early, they can still keep in touch with him I should have thought, so go for it I say.
How did the riding go along the beach, did you manage to swim with the horse, did Amy do that as well.
How also did the round-up go, (goats) got quite a giggle on when I read that bit, I could see you and Amy galloping round after them!!!!!!! sorry got to have another giggle, in fact cannot seem to stop for a while, so i think I will go and put Alison to bed now.
Big Hugs Mum and Ali.
