Glad to recieved your text it helped a lot, and it is really funny now. But you must admit your friends had quite the same idea judging by their responses??????
What are you up to now, you do not seem to be updating you blog, but then if you are travelling in your spaceship I support it is hard.

P.S. I only got 4 easter eggs this year. And like you the easter bunny did not hide any eggs this year for Alison either, (which I might add did not go down very well with her), so that bunny has got a lot of making up to do next year, what with missing you and Alison hidden eggs.

Hi there,
Yes I have finally made it from my flu bed.....(some simpathy if you please), only joking, got told off at work for turning in, but hey!!! just call me a workaholic.... not!!!!!! Got some browny points from Ian (I think) stayed late on Friday helping Pam finish some urgent stuff, anyway thats boring.
I must say I am pretty sure you are both enjoying your travels in the spaceship, but I do not think you will be able to bring it home Sam (sad but true), not managed to look at the photos yet, but I shall get round to it.
Wales was good, bit cold though, cloudy, rain (well wales really) but food of course was excellent and do not forget company. Went to the beach a couple of times, and guess what (what I hear you say with a gasp of anticipation) well I shall not hold you in suspense any longer, Alison had a lesson from Andrew in (drum roll..........bang.. bang...0 (good sound effects huh!!!!) KITE FLYING (well I had to put some suspense into it, but Alison thought it was excellent) and she was very good at it, I thought she might have taken off (like you used to do Sam) but no she had her feet firmly planted. Anne and I caught some rays (yes it was very warm up by the sea wall and quite a little sun trap) Grandma was very warm as well (she stayed in the van) but then I do not think she would have got onto the beach as the steps were very worn about 3 and then a drop off the last one, which made it very difficult getting back up onto them (not very elegant.. but then who said I was...). The farm was nice, Alison went with Andrew to see the horses but they did not seem to like people, not even a sugar lump would get them close, Alison dropped them onto the ground, but they were not imressed and I do not think polo's worked either, so she did not get very close to them. B ut she did enjoy playing and walking with the dog (which I might add was not called 'girrrrllll as Alison called it with an american accent I might add) but HOLLY, she was very nice, if a little incontinent when she came to greet you, so you had to watch out.
Been to Nottingham today, not as exciting as Sydney, Canberra and who knows where else, but we enjoyed it.
Well must go now and get some sleep, seem to be very tied this week.
See ya!!! love Mum and Ali xxxxx

Well not able to get out for a run yet, still pains in my leg when i try, but getting better so still hopeing that I will be fit, will have to make a decision by next wednesday. Mum is complaning that I did not buy her an egg, but she has given up chocolate so that would be very difficult. Looks as if leicester will be promoted so maybe they will be playing Hull again next year. Have viewed the photos tonight, you are getting very arty or are they mistakes like you normally have on holidays, at least you cannot forget to load the film!!!!!! Have fun both of you. love you dad
Chloe (:
heyy,
note the fact that you said teaching drinking games to those who are old enuff, well i am now officially 14 and allowed to drink with food and the presence of an adult, so bring on the pizza and count me in (: had a really good birthady !! was amazing and gerry (ipod) is lovely !! got 633 songs on there so far !!
well i think i may start to tell you about my very tyring but exciting week at quorn, but to those who arent interested stop reading now as it may go on for a while (:
Amy i will tell you exactly what i ate !!
monday arrived at the very early time of 8.30 !!! i no yea it was still pitch black ! got taken nito a room and met alll of the other some of whom i remembered from last time as either being slightly 'different' ill call it or the ones my age. The older mentors were nice i already knew one from hockey (beth). Had to play lots of games to help remember names and get us used to each otherm which was hard as my memory is as good as mums !! so id just about remembered them all by thurs and yea that was time to leave!!
later that day we made trebushays (cant spell it) and had to try and fire a ball as far as possible, chloes team won !! (: which was the start to a winning streak lasting through out the week , some say its luck but i say its all down to skill !! hehe, then we had to go canoeing and race 800m down a river collect a code go back untie the strange contraption of two canoes tyed together and repeat our code before the clock stopped. oh may i just say, chloes team won ! my arms did hurt after that though, me and helen (mentor) did seem to be doing alot of the work and we were on the same side so itdid end up a bit unevn canoeing.
food - minestrone soup not sure if its spelt right, but dont worry it wasnt on a menu !! lasagne for main which realy was gawjus but on a par with mums and bigg choc muffins with smarties on top for pudding !! later an acvtivitie with orienteering in the dark and finding letters and the unscrambling the code , guess what , my team won !! (: getting a bit repetative isnt it !! :P
tuesday- bridge building , where you had to assemble a brige lower it across, get your team across wothout falling in and then haul it u , untie it and put everything away against the clock. none of my team fell in and so , my team won , ( they had the quickset time too). Then a code breaking activity and learnt about the engima code.
had pie for tea chicken and mmushroom was again very nice, homemade ! Oh tomato soup for starter first and jelly and ice crem for main.
Did egg race at night and had to chuck cluck cluck the egg off the top of the stairs, for the lack of protection i think he survived with w mere crack quite well.
wed
defuzing a bomb and orienteering work and getting someone out of a locked room with a code ( highly hilarious), my team managed to defuse the bomb and only a few 'died' altho that was completely necissary to do the task, i was asked whyy i always took control and my group told the leader that it was because i had got them across the river and they didnt get wet so they trusted me, which i found quite amusing!!
pork chops and veg soup for dinner with choc mousse for puds !!
thurs -
the most daring of all, the zip wire and high ropes couse, theres a few picture i got so i will need to explain in more detail when you get bk, but it was too scary for words, but absoloutly amazing i loved it and would definatly do it again and again!! didnt get a lovely dinner that night well actually i did cuz i came home and had a lovely dinner here (: mums yummy cooking, cant remember what i had tho !! time to go home from the quorn now and was tired , oh actually i had salmon at home that night, just remembered and simon was home too !(: but had to say goodbye to every1 that i had made friends with, specifically sarah, rowan, daisy, magan , ellis ad immy ( mr hinds daughter) and left homeward.. had my birthday, wrote a report on the week and now urrrrm well gotta hoover my room (: lol
lovesss you lots and lots,

Only joking. just read the latest installments, sounds as if you're having lots of fun.
Well Easter has been & gone, I didn't get an egg from dad...no surprise there then!
Simon brought his wii home so Chloe and two of her friends have been playing on that for most of the day. I went to the fields & did my normal stuff.
Think we need a shopping trip this week as I'm not at work until Friday & Chloe's got birthday money burning a hole in her pocket lol.
Sounds like Auntie Jean can't wait to meet up with you, there was mention of her keeping you Amy as she always wanted a grand daughter. I think she'll look after you well for the days that you are with her.
You must be excited about getting the spaceship tomorrow...who gets to drive it first??
Keep us informed all about it as we like to know what you're up to. Drive carefully. Lots of love from Mum xxxx

Happy Easter. Lucky stadium for late wins this weekend. City have just won, scoring in the last minutes.Grandpa really enjoyed his rugby on Saturday. 15-15 until the last minute of the match when Tigers scored a try. I couldnt get up out of my seat as Grandpa (&Carol spencer sitting the other side of him) was up and waving his flag like a shot!! Was the first time he had sat with the opposition, we had Bath fans sitting behind us, and he couldnt get over that at the end of the match the Bath fan sitting behind him tapped him on the shoulder, shook his hand and said good luck. Grandpa then explained that it was the first match he'd been to and the young lad said 'Are you converted?' I said to him that after 60+ years I didnt think there was much chance of that!! We'll have to take him to Welford Road when the new stands are finished! Joseph has just gone home, leaving us planning the trip to the Millenium Stadium for the semi-final in 3 weeks time.
