users of the internet unite! this is my first blog entry, and the first of many if i'm gonna have anything to do about it.

i'm going to start off my blogging career (blogeer?) by naming a few of the things i think i'm going to miss most.

i think melon is going to be a big one for me. i miss it already and i haven't even been away from it for more than a day.

another thing i'm going to miss being a bitter englishman. it's all well and good being bitter and making scornful remarks about my fellowcountrymen/women while inside the country, but when you're out in the world, away from england, you lose the right to be bitter about it. you have to represent your country and make it seem as though your country is a place worthy of worthiness so you don't seem unworthy.

other things i will miss include: the colbert report, contact sports, home comforts, story time, not having to use foreign silverware, writing lists.
