What fantastic pictures! How it brings it all back!
Now wait a minute, when you said "you've just bought an elephant", what did you really mean.....?!
LOVE the map! Good job Lance is an artist! If I had drawn that, it would not have looked like Africa at all!
Love to you all, and to Clare (Harvey) and family in Nepal.

Hi All
What a surprise when I checked your blog to read about your experiences and look at the amazing photos. You really look like you are in the holiday mood. I plan to have a couple of your pictures of the masai as my wallpaper - the "classic" shot, and the one of elephants. Both beautiful, not to mention the 2 portraits of the boys.
It's SMSP quiz night on Friday - all the (remaining) ACDC's and NME's were to form a table but sadly the event is sold out. So we are piling round to the Boyles for a credit crunch Chinese instead!!
Hope the transition to the next continent goes smoothly.
Lots of love Sue xx

Hi Clare, Lance, Ben and Tom.
You have a wonderful Blog going. Personally I can't stand Egypt, but the Kenya bit went straight for my heart. I am not quite updated on your position now, but hoping you might be in Bangkok by some chance ! Pim and I are in Chiang Rai on a family visit. Will pass Bangkok again between 20th and 23rd March before proceeding to London, where I may have time to visit Judith and Edward....with some luck, the Battens too. Slip me a note asap. Best Regards, Lars

Hi to the intrepid travellers!!!!
Love the photos - it feels like we are on the journey with you! The boys look like they are having a fab time - glad to see they are keeping up with their school work (that's the teacher in me!)
You all look so healthy and relaxed. Loved the photo of Lance snogging the giraffe - you've got competition there!!
All's well in the Gregson household. We keep driving past your house and the girls always ask when they can see Ben and Tom again - 6 months is such a long time to them.

Hi all.
Great to read the latest news - how is the painting progressing? This is really to let you know that Ru and Yumi are now the proud parents of Noah! All well. I think there should be an e-mail with photos for you somewhere, but it may take too long to download, so I thought I'd use the blog to pass that on!
All well in Exeter, and send lots of love.

Hello The Flemings! We received our 1st postcard today - HURRAH! Thanks Ben, we all laughed at the thought of you over-dosing on coke, but then it's probably the safest thing to drink when water supply is, er, uncertain!! Seems like you are all manging to keep healthy, which is an achievement in itself. Hope you've slept better with a proper roof over your heads. Am writing this message as my own internet connection seems to be suffering from a touch of Kenya-itis, and is insufferably slow. I thought it might ring the changes too!! Hope Ben & Tom have enjoyed their days at African school - you can take the boys out of school, but you can't take the school of boys.... as they say!!! It was really nice to read Lance's words on Africa - very insightful, and full of evocative visuals - brilliant, who needs to upload pics when you've got poets in the family!!! No news from Beacon Hill - chilly, but girls full of fun. Chloe had 4 inches of hair cut off today (all her idea!) and is now sporting a very grown-up & pretty bob. OK, hope Lance isn't pining for the rugby, I know that the 6 nations is reaching its climax any moment, but just keep painting kids!!! much love. xxxx C & All The Stevens

Hullo all of You - you sound in wonderful form.
Your descriptions are better than any photos - they brilliantly take us back to Kenya and for me also to Latin American markets and shops in small villages.
What a project painting the whole side of a building. I'm jealous! I painted Freddie today, not the same scale.
You can keep the mosi's, but send us a bit of your warmth. There's a group going to climb Killi for red nose day -so we had majestic photos of it snow covered on the box tonight. Make us feel close to you.
