Hello all! We have ended our hiking portion of the trip, and now are starting to build towards the drive to Grand Canyon. The good news is that we are still trying to knock off some states, so we head to Four Corners, New Mexico. That's right - four states in one stop! Hello all!Our second full day in Moab is all about hiking, and all about avoiding the blazing heat! Arches National Park opens at 7AM, so we dragged our tired bodies out of bed to get everything ready to go and hit the park on time! When you do your hike early, you can be 10 to 20 degrees cooler, and we were hitting our most strenuous trail yet. Hello all! (late night draft 1) The first full day in Moab was an absolute blast! Let me first describe the town. This place is perfect for any adrenaline junkie, because everything is here. There are bikers, motorcycles, rafting, jeeps, 4X4 trucks and more hikers than you can imagine. Today we left Hurricane, UT to move to our next "home base" in Moab. The plan was to head to Bryce Canyon National Park, and just do a "driving tour" since we did so much hiking the past two days. This was a great plan, however as we headed higher in elevation the temperature dropped 49 degrees!
