Wake up call at 6.30 again, groan.I asked mum if she enjoyed her flamenco night and she said it was just okay but other people who went loved it.Horses for courses l guess. We visited La Alhambra, a palace in Granada, built atop a mountain, famous for all the decorative work inside the building. It reminded me of lacework at restored and apparently this is quite a famous statue too and may people go there just to see the lions. We weren't allowed to take photos of them but they're just statues of lions. It still has the original aqueduct. There are around 300 visitors per half hour to the palace so that's a lot of people going through. The grounds were lovely. There was also a tour of the gardens which l sat out 'cause l'm not going to tire myself out again and get sick!Around the mountain are caves in which the Gypsy's once lived and they're still used today although there is a proper house in front of the cave. The rest of the day we spent travelling to Cordoba and arrived there around 3pm.Time for a bit of retail therapy….yaaaay!!!Afterwards l went back to our room while mum did a bit of exploring. She said she saw a few statues, ruins, gardens, water features, old roman bridge and pretty streets with white painted houses and red geraniums hanging around.Dinner was at 7pm so a little bit earlier tonight. We also get a bit of a sleep in tomorrow morning…wake up call is at 7am…..nice!The weather started of cool but by early afternoon it was really quite warm.
