Woke, or rather the alarm woke me at around 8.15 this morning, Mum was already up and dressed. We had a Welsh breaky....bacon and eggs hahaha... and then we were on our way. It was only 50miles to Holyhead so it didn't take us long at all. We arrived in plenty of time to catch the ferry which left at 2.10pm so we wandered around and took a few photos until it was time to board. The ferry is quite large with plenty to do and eat. We had lunch of roast beef with yorkshire pudding and veges then did a bit of shopping (bought some Clinique body moisturiser for 20.50 Euro which works out to $27 which is a bargain) before settling down to read for the rest of the 3 and a half hour trip. Arrived in Dublin at 5.30pm. We had no idea where we were going so I followed a campervan for a while 'cause it looked like they knew where they were going, but eventually l got in front of it so l had to wing it. Stopped at a petrol station and bought a map so we could at least see where we were but it didn't show hotels so Mum stopped a guy to ask where we could stay and here we are at a place called the Jury's Inn. We've just had something to eat and l'm sitting in the bar doing this blog while Mum's taking a walk. We'll stay here for 2 nights before we move on. I haven't noticed too much of the scenery because l'm driving and trying to concentrate on all the road signs etc. When we were in England l didn't know the speed limit so l think l might come home to find a few fines. Shhh...don't tell Craig!
