Wellington was such a fantastic time! We stayed in a great little neighborhood called Newtown at a fabulous house. Tim went to university here and lived in Wellington for many years before moving to Vancouver, BC. It was so special for us to be shown around by Holly and Grayson who live there. Here are some highlights:
-Chocolate Fish Cafe for lunch and Scorching Bay for beach afternoon
-Weta Workshop Tour
-CrocBike ride in oriental bay
-Scootering with friends the kids met at the wedding all around Welly and going to the incredible TePapa museum together
-Tara and Tim had their first ever date alone since Ingrid came along: a beer around the corner from the house
-Beach gathering with so many friends and fresh fish n chips!
-Delicious dinner at Rita with the Beals parents (Christmas pressie from G &H)
Not nearly enough time to do all the things on our list! Next time we’ll stay longer.
