Alice met us at the airport, we got the cases and got in the most scouse taxi in Singapore! It looked like the kop in the back seat and the taxi driver had the liverpool starting 11 in subbuteo figures! Got to Alice and dave's flat and went for a dip in their pool! After the swim we got the bus into town and hit a local food village to try out the specialties, we avoided the curry headed fish and stuck to noodle and rice dishes for the first day. After a casual wake up, Anna very kindly took us to the airport and we got their with lots of time to spare. Did sone duty free shopping and bought lots of books to read. Our plane seemed brand new and even had a camera on the roof that you could watch from your seat! Watched take off and Glyn would of really appreciated the technology! Flew over Deutschland, Ukraine, Afghanistan, India and then to Singapore. Was a great journey but we both felt sorry for the bab...

The day before take off and we said our goodbyes to friends and family. It's fair to say that we are struggling with the 23kg weight limit! Anj has agreed to act as cabby tomorrow. Looking forward to getting to Singapore!

2 days before our big trip and it's packing central at Hallington mansions. Just checking that this blog will work! Getting hair cut and just realised that we will be on 10 flights on the trip!
