Hi 3/4C from Greece!! This message will probably get to you before a postcard!
We have been having a great time. It's HOT!!! 35C + every day. We've been swimming a lot. The Mediterranean Sea is a different kind of blue to anything you've seen. We have seen some amazing sights & some HUGE superyachts that cost millions of dollars!!
The trains here travel at between 360-560km per hour. You can feel the wind long before they even get to the station.
We've been learning a few words in French, Italian & now we're switching to Greek. Yasso - hello! The people love it when you try.
Today we went to the ancient temple of Apollo - a Greek god. I studied all about this place when I was at university, so it's pretty cool. We saw the sphinx of Greece that would kill anyone who couldn't answer his riddle. See if you can: what goes on 4 legs, 2 legs, then 3 legs? I knew the answer when our guide asked. What a smarty pants!! Try and work it out and send me the answer.
I hope you're having fun with Mrs Richards. Send me a message on my blog if you can. Sometimes I don't have very good wifi & it takes me ages to upload but I keep trying!
Miss you, love you lots, Mrs C xxx

We so want to be there and more importantly coming in on a super yacht!! Well we can only dream!! Have read your blog to the kidlets, talked about the history of the buildings etc, they were enthralled. The best and most heartfelt photo was the 'Happy Birthday to Sally', just gorgeous, I am sure she is missing you both, but knowing her Mother's girl, she would have partied and good on her. Oh if only we were 19 again and knew what we know we now, but still loved being 19 and am loving pushing that zero number, life is great, and I know you are both having a ball. Keep on having fun xxus

AAAAHHH Roma, the city of love or oops is that Paris, who cares, you both look like you are having an amazing time and that blue blue sky, we a sick with jealousy as it is freezing here, we have blue skies as well but so cold and a bit of a worry, hope the spring rains come, the garden is dry as, a worry for Summer, and no snow on our low lying mountains yet, but we still have August and September to get through. I have a little giggle to myself, with all your planning Lyse, you and Scott are still enjoying adventures, such as catching the fast train to Nice and getting off again. That's what holidays are all about, enjoying the unexpected, we should know, our holidays are all about the unexpected!! Go with the flow and have a laugh. We continue to love the food photos and arborist Ian has even spotted a palm in one of your photos and then (train buff that he is), the rail lines and tunnel in another. I just keep on looking at blue sky and views, which are beyond amazing. Have the best time, enjoy every second xxus

Hi we love reading your daily adventures and looking at your amazing photos. Denise is also following you on Face book and it is so great to say to each other in a phone conversation "wasn't the photo of this or that absolutely stunning". We are both transfixed by the history of the buildings and cobblestones. Just loving it. Enjoy those European hours, go with the flow and have fun xxcon

Hello there. Thank you for reading my ramblings. Sometimes I'm so late to bed I can hardly do it. Everything starts so late - nothing opens till 11 & shuts after midnight. We don't eat till 10pm. Do European!

Hi I have finally got it I think and hope, I have been madly sending you messages in the message box directly under your blog and not in the message box under messages, (which is where I am typing now). Your photos are amazing, such a sense of history and that blue blue sky. Keep on soaking in the heat, it is cold here, I am sitting in front of fire with heater on in trackies and uggs!!! Your food photos are to die for how big was the chocolate profiterole, major yum. Having family lunch tomorrow to celebrate the engagement yay. You both look so relaxed, keep on having the best time xxcon

Conny Plant Oh Lyse, your amazing photos make us feel we are there, the stone walls, the cobblestones, the awnings, such a sense of history and of course your love the sailing boats. The food photos are superb, Ian the mussel lover just drooled, it certainly looks like you are both having a fabulous time, today I finaly made it to The Precinct, had lunch at Platinium, yes you guessed it, Calamari (as you know I am calamari queen!!), and it was superb, checked out the other new places, took photos of the meat in the bar and grill for Ian, so we are off to enjoy a burger there, am off to lunch tomorrow at Helen's Hill estate tomorrow, will be ten tonne Tessy by the time I get back to work, but boxes are nearly done, Yay!!, Cherry Tree has a hard rubbish collection, so on Sunday Ian and I will collect furniture from family home in beaut ute and take there as Salvos sadly won't collect, they are full. Gives me another chance to pick more oranges!!! Oh joy!! Have organised ACAS assessment for Dad in October, it is so nice to have the time to make phone calls and not have to wave at you at 9.00am to bring my class in. Thank you so much again with my heart for all your support. I came home tonight and said to Ian, "I feel like I am back in the real world again", and not just running all the time, but two settlements coming up, am sure they will run smoothly, being positive positive here. Keep on having fun and keep on with the photos, we are loving following your trip xxus
