Intersection Light at Night
In the centre of intersections there are these four sided lights which flash either yellow or red, opposite sides flash the same colour. If yellow flashes north and south, this means cars approaching from north and south only need to yield. If red, then that direction of traffic needs to stop. Stop signs are hard to see at night and street lights are not all that common.
