To all,

A quick update from me. Well as always in my life things are never simple and that doesn't change over here either! It is rainy season which isn't too bad but we cannot make it down the east coast as its flooded and the buses have all been cancelled so bit of a change of plan now. Just booked a flight to Melbourne for the morning just like that and then gonna head north east to Hervey Bay on the Greyhound bus then hopefully get to the Whitsunday islands from there. Drama!

Other than that had a fab few days here in Cairns weather warm in daytime 34 degrees! Went snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef yesterday it was amazing. It took me half an hour to get in the water mind but if you know me then you know how much i hate water! As soon as i was in tho i loved every minute me and em went around the first reef and i did not want to get out! Then we had a fab lunch then went to another and also had a tour with Jenny the diver it was fab saw all kinds of fish and coral etc. I tried to put pics on as we had an underwater camera but this stupid computer has the harddrive laid on its side so the disc wont read!

Anyway then today we went north to Cape Tribulation for a day trip where we went on a boat trip in the Daintree river and saw 2 crocodiles one was 3 metres deep ah and i was about a metre away from it! Then we went into a rainforest and saw all kinds of spiders, animals and plants etc! Then went to Mossman gorge which was also amazng then as a treat on the way back saw Wallabies wow what a day!

So far on this trip i have exceeded all things unimaginable in my life a sky dive, snorkeling and facing my ultimate fear spiders what next hey? Watch this space!

Anyway enough from me need to go and pack again so used to it now tho and hopefully next time i update the blog we will be in sunny dry weather fingers crossed. However and Trev you will understand this the chocolate is just not the same over here so its killing me! I think there is a shop though further south that imports english chocolate so i hope for a full fat mars bar any day now.
