The lovely old royal Prague Castle. Didn't go in - lots of pomp and ceremony at the gates. It's one of the largest Castle complexes in the world, the say, and incorporates the Vitus Cathedral.

Church of Our Lady before Tyn dominates Old Town square. It's unusual in that it's two Gothic spires are not symmetrical. They represent the masculine and feminine sides of the world. The Astronomical clock is on the left. It indicates hours, the phases of the moon, the equinoxes, the seasons and the days. At the same time the twelve zodiac signs make their course through the heavens. We watched as the clock struck 3pm and the animated figures on the sides came...
