Our last days in Florence were beautiful and memorable. Friday we walked to Piazzale Michelangelo for a fantastic view of Florence and some exercise. In the evening, Fred and Nancy arrived at our apartment. We walked to dinner at Olio e Conviivium, the same restaurant where we had our cooking class on Wednesday. After a wonderful three hour meal, we walked back to our apartment for wine on our balcony.

On Saturday, the four of us toured the Chianti wine region with our driver and Sommelier Matthew. It is a beautiful wine region and it was a wonderful day tasting wine with our dear friends, Fred and Nancy. After a short nap, we walked around Florence, stopped at the rooftop bar at the Hotel Continentale for drinks and snacks. We finished the evening with pizza and wine on our balcony.

After breakfast in our apartment, we said goodbye to Fred and Nancy. We took a taxi to the train station and headed to Lucca.
