This was my first glimpse of Vancouver after I arrived. I needed to fill in time before my accommodation was ready. Sitting in a park reading my eBook seemed the perfect way to start. Explored the shops ( no dress shops ) and finally was given the keys to my apartment. Probably not a fancy as I'd expected but a very comfy bed and pillows. Clean and airy.
Are out last night. Indian. You'd be proud if me CnK. Yummy naan bread and lamb rogan josh.
Now I'm being a happy little housewife. Great fresh food. Summer fruit. But weather cool for summer.
Went over to a Regent College to scope it out and buy my text book. Riding buses again. A long time since I've relied on buses. Even met the Brummell's while I was waiting to go home. Serendipity.
My mission tomorrow. Find something special to do. I'll go exploring. Jet lag is ok and my cold is almost gone.
