Finally a day where we don't have to drive! We went to the Riversleigh fossil museum where the old australian animal fossils were. There was so many fossils like giant kangaroos, wombats and crocodiles! We went shopping for food and more things we needed for the trip. Then we came back to the caravan park and dad took the car to get repaired and it did get fixed so tomorrow we will be able to leave to go to lawn hill! =-]

In the morning we to the kronosaurus corner museum where the sea dinosaurs were found. They had lots of ancient bones. One of the dinosaurs was found in exactly its death position! Then we left richmond with some fossilise and drove to mount isa we were going to go a different way to lawn hill but a bit in our car broke so we had to go to mount isa to get it fixed but they don't have the part we need until tomorrow so it looks like we'll stay hear tomorrow as wel...

Sorry i couldn't post anything last night, we had no internet connection:( Today when we were ready to go instead of driving away from Winton we went back through it to get to the dinosaur museum. lots of dinosaur bones were discovered! We went on a tour of the laboratory, and saw some petrified wood that was 95 million years old! Today we drove from Tambo to Winton. As we keep driving it gets hotter! Its know 7:20 and I'm still wearing a T-shirt and shorts! Today wasn't a very long drive like yesterday it was kind of short for me. The cool thing about winton is that its the dinosaur capital of Australia and its where Bango Patterson wrote Waltzing Matilda! Today we left bouke and drove to tambo. It was a very long drive but today we wanted to get as far as possible. We crossed the border where Queensland and New South Wales meet(near Camerons Conner madi). There were lots of goats and fork-tailed kites heaps of kangaroos and not much wedge-tailed eagles. Tonight we are camping at a river and right know I'm sit by the camp fire! =-]
