Well, the Bruce Springsteen concert (on May 25th) doesn´t really fit into a travel blog, because it was only 3 stations with the suburban train to the Frankfurt stadium (though a concert trip to Canada seemed to be a wellness trip compared to travelling back home together with 40 thousand people who tried to take that suburban train…). Still I like to mention it, because it surely was one of the concert highlights of the year. It´s simply unbelievable how much energy Bruce has. Usually I prefer the smaller venues, but I have to admit the atmosphere in a huge stadium is something special and nobody else can rock those huge venues like Bruce does. Everybody, no matter how far from the stage, was thrilled. And he didn´t use any special effects, it´s just his personality and his power together with some very good musicians in the E-Street-Band. He even “dived” into the audience! The show also had its touching moments, Bruce singing together with children from the audience and of course the songs he played in memory of the sax player who died recently. The concert lasted for more than 3 and a half hours without a break!
