Managed to see some Orca whales up very close before I left Canada, Unfotunately like the bears they just will not stay still for 'The Shot' so here is a photo of a lot of sea and a bit of whale.
Supprisingly the guards at the Canadian/USA border weren't interested in my broken little finger and refused to extend my visa due to lost days when I was unable to travel. In fact their dogs were more interested in my luggage much to the excitement of the guards quickly turning to dissapointment on discovering my 'stash' of donuts.
Met some very nice people at the border and rode with them for the day.( Thanks very much for dinner and everything x)
Travelled to 'Cape Dissapointment' (long story) and stayed at Campsite meeting the lovely Dan and wife (thanks for breakfast x)
Now heading down the US Pacific Coast..
Am in a small town called Pacific city overlooking beach watching the surfers. Feels very different to the wilderness I've just come from which I kind of miss but there is plenty to see.
Aircraft hanger museum, wooden bridge ,sandune surfing blah blah all fab stuff ...see photos.
Still very happy and having one hell of an experience...love to all xxx.
