My_hero the heroic applauds the non-spending of money. It's o character-building. Although the thought of potentially not having enough for bog-roll is a little disconcerting. Perhaps you need to lay in a stock of leaves (coca leaves?).
I'm sure the haggling skills will stand you in good stead when you get to negotiate your annual salary. I don't think they will stand you in good stead when sorting funding at uni, 'cos I happen to know your dad is a mean and heartless ratbag.
Right, that's all for now, 'cos I'm at work and have things to do (make myself a coffee, basically). Note that My_Hero the discreet didn't mention the ongoing heatwave. Or the war.

Principessa,
Your previous email never made it, but many thanks for this one.
The tea was definitely in tea bags like the usual stuff around here. They really exist in that format.
Ok for the cut & I'll go ahead with the 5 lessons (10 hrs block), for upon your return.
Keep well and feel loved!
Llama
Hey Bella,
Obv this llama is very pleased to hear that u've seen lots of them out there- very much looking 4ward to seeing some in Ecuador. As Nadenka already said, Trowbridge was ACE. Unfortunately, hammocks were absent but Cheese Grater Man made a return- yey!!! Got Anna dancing again, thus corrupting her in way Chia will kill me!
Another hilarious thing was that this guy wearing a bright pink muslin dress was passing us by and said, "You look ridiculous" to me, to which i replied with "Thank-you!" He was joking obv so was okay!! Somehow, he reminded me of u.... think it was more the comment rather than wearing a bright pink muslin dress.... Still, u never know!
Got back today + got straight on PC to catch up with all ur goings on- sounds fab apart from "sickies"- poor things!!!
Oodles a wuv,
Llama

Paul awoke, hot. And has done for quite a few days now. The heatwave continues.
Enjoyed the update.
Glad you're not ill - yet!
Glad all else is going well - so far!
Can I expect to read that you have left a team member AND her buddy behind next time?
Went to Farnborough air show today. Saw the usual mix including the Red Arrows, but also a Mig that does somersaults. Not the usual loops, but somersaults. Cor!
Love you more than you can imagine.

Carissima Principessa,
It's wonderful to read your stories.
Have you had the email re:driving lessons?
I need to know (rather soonish) if you'd be happy to have a couple of 2 hrs lessons (just as a try!), or I can book a block of 10 hrs as 5 sessions? There will be enough time to do it, in the few days you're at home between Peru & N.Z, if you have the first one on Fri 11th Aug.
I'd need to cancel the bookings if you do not want them, so let me know please a.s.a.p.
Just like you, the Peruvian coca leaf tea left me utterly unimpressed but it might be a good idea to bring a few tea-bags home as a curio.
Keep warm, stick to well cooked foods & enjoy every moment.
Miss you & love you & love you & love you & love you & love you.
A presto!
Ben
YO!
this is just a small note of congratulations on the stupendously genious way in which you are managing to spell all of the place names. if i was wearing a hat i would take it off for you. serioulsy tho it all sounds AWESOME (and not like a hot-dog) its a better read than any book, and far more gripping. watch what you eat and you should be alright sickness wise. tho it is a good way to practically halve your body weight. (Not that i AT ALL, AT ALL recomand it as you are wanderful as you are) all the best and sympathise with those who don't feel so good,
love you lots and lots
God Bless!

Hello merry wanderer!
Helen e-mailed this wonderful page to me and it's been great to be able to read about all the amazing stuff you've been up to! It sounds like you're having a jolly corking time (taking the risk of sounding like a member of the landed gentry here...).
Not much has been happening back home- I went to Trowbridge for the day last Friday (21/07) and walked on stilts, received a henna tattoo and sung 'Happy Birthday' to the tune of 'London's Burning' to a very disgruntled Anna! Ah, memories...
Thanks for taking the time to keep us all updated with everything you're doing and be sure to take every (legal) opportunity to enjoy yourself for the rest of your time in Peru!
Miss you lots,
Nadine

Glad things are going well and that you haven't fallen off Macchu Pichu or anything.
You didn't say if you were one of the three that were sick - I assume not. But maybe your turn will come (grin...). Of course, it's an experience, so enjoy it...
Thunderstorm in progress here, and a bit cooler. A chap can have too many days of 35 deg cent. Moushka is under the desk - thunderstorms not her favourite - Allan playing the drums to drown out the thunder for her. But I don't think she likes the drums either. Och well....
Ti amo. Enjoy yourself.

Thanks for the note.
Hope the sickness is not contagious. Keep well and feel loved!

Hello! Hello? Is this thing on? Harrumph! Now see here Annabel my girl, Us old fuddy wotsits take a bit of getting up to speed dont you know. Having been suitably chastised about potato`s & fuddy duddy old fashioned Emails I thought I`d drop in one of these message thingys. Somewhat curious to find out that Peru is actually on the southern most tip of India! Cant argue with that, Annabel always renowned for accuracy in all things geographic. Hope you havent scared the local wild life too much, and if you took any "souveniers" (special tweed spelling) the oogly booglys will be after you. Off to wring out the tweeds, it`s the hot weather you know! Be good, careful & have fun. Giles
