Had to catch a train at Union Station in Washington. There was not much time to have breakfast at the station before boarding the train so I didn't get much time to explore the station. I should have done it previously since all the hop on hop off busses stop here. The ticket was $164 which I thought quite steep for a 3.5 hour journey. It was cloudy and raining when I woke up. It remained that way right until about 7pm. I started to fall out of love with the city. Started the touring again. Went to to the Space and Air Musuem. It is amazing. Also went to the Natural History Museum. Also amazing. Went to the National Archives. Saw the original Declaration of Independence, bill of rights, constitution, etc. Washington has so many museums that it there is never enough time to do justice to them. ...

It was an early start to the day. Was up at 3.05am and at the Orlando airport by 4.30am. Washington metro was easy to navigate from the airport to the hotel. Staying at Washington Hilton and they checked me in at 11am without even mentioning early check in! Room is really nice. Second stay at a Hilton on this trip and you can't go wrong with a Hilton.
