Manning Gorge
Today we didn’t have to drive anywhere so we had pancakes with maple syrup for breakfast, yummy. Then we went to the river and crossed in the boat pulling ourselves across with a rope which was cool fun. It was a bit tricky to find the start but we found it eventually. It was a pretty long walk with lots of rocks and climbing up and down. We got there and it was so cool with a big waterfall and swimming area. The water was nice and warm too. I had my noodle and Dad took me over to the small waterfall and I was very brave and we swam under it and could even rest behind it. Then we went to the big waterfall which was scary and had a strong current so was hard to get close to. We finally made it and the wAter was really noisy and heavy but fun. After lunch Dad jumped off the waterfall and then so did the other kids but I wasn’t big enough, not fair! We then chased fish and nearly caught them with our hands. After a great stay we had to go. It was a long walk back but we had a good swim at the boat crossing. Everyone slept well this night.

Grandma & Grandad Dear Stu, What a great day you had! We are very impressed with the way you are keeping up with everyone on all the walks you do. You are going to be so fit for soccer when you get home. We would love to visit all the wonderful places you are seeing. Xx
