Happy New Year!! Er, could you guys stop concluding your messages by "we are off to the beach" please??
Hope the dog fighting went well!
Are you still going to Bangkok despite the recent events and recommendation from the Foreign Office? Please be careful if you do.
Kylie
Stu with mates called 'Gooner' and 'Donk' are you sure you're not Australian?Sorry about the cricket. Actually, I'm not sorry at all. You Brits might just spend too much time watching sport instead of playing it... like this whole darts malarkey. I cannot believe that Phil 'The Power' Taylor is acceptable viewing over Christmas. God it is so sad that I even know who he is.... Sounds like you are having a great time and I am just green with envy, 'tis the season to be homesick!ko

Happy New Year to you both! You look to be having a busy time. I've been to Tunbridge Wells and Portsmouth in the last week.
I just thought I'd let you know that THE new years party of 2006 went very well. The Smiths and Hicks behaved themselves by the sea. Rich, PK and I covered most areas of the golf course between us in the afternoon's gale. PK's tactics of having "to pick your battles on this course" apparently allowed him to pick up and let Rich and I carry the team on the tough holes, which included a 150yd par 3 (I think he then awarded himself pars for those holes on the card). In the evening I won 85,000 in deal or no deal (a remodelled drinking version obviously)...but did have to spend five minutes in the garden having a chat with myself after an unlucky run of vodka, gin and rum shots. 'The dealer' could not break me. Close to midnight we strolled down to a party at a house/OAP day centre where karaoke took place, kristine drank more stella, jelly was thrown and fire extinguishers were set off. PK 'didn't do it' because he was busy doing impressions of his sister/Vicky Pollard whilst Dan was break dancing, whilst both singing "That's amore". We were then all thrown out and the party season ended.
Please continue to add photos of the rear ends of animals you meet on your travels. It will make a great sub plot...a platypus next perhaps.

Hello hello
Viv - thanks for the M&B update, good to hear all's well. Anna and Mark were on good form - great to see them again. Managed to hold Lauren without making her cry, so figure I'm actually a natural.
Clare Mac - thanks for the tip - will suss it out over the next few weeks.
At the farm at the moment. It's really windy and was so cold yesterday we had an open fire (!) but much warmer today. About to head to the beach. Mum's calling Stu and I for lunch (prodigal daughter routine working well) so will write more later.
xx
Viv
Typical that I had to rely on you to see the first (pretty much) photos of the DinzoStennett's new addition. Can't believe how much she looks like her dad. Have to say that neither you nor Stu look completely at ease when holding her.... Just as well you went with those malaria pills after all. Think you painted in those blue skies - I heard it was 15 degrees at the MCG the other day?
Had good xmas if you ignore fact that foz and I were both ill. Foz came home without me to 'get some rest' (and go to work, that's incidental). Then spent every night up til gone midnight cackling loudly at the ashes. Bet Stu has loved how well THAT's gone...
Hope you having great time. Good to see the photos on the board so soon. V.xxx
p.s. as I know you'll be desperate to know, Maia and Ben both well. M has 2 teeth and is sitting up on her own.

Glad to see you made it one piece and that you didn't fall asleep and end up in Kent. Don't let the cricket get you down mate - we seem to have adopted French military tactics so it's better just to let it go. We're all off to Paris soon so I'd better go start my rollerblading lessons. Enjoy. Simon 9 bellies.

Well you really are missing a wonderful time here. As you know, this is the busiest time of year for compiling comedy material and I'm already storing some pearlers up for your return...
Stuart I took a call today from Frank the Dog.....he wants to come and live with you. He's gron fonder of you with all the letters that he's written you over the years and he feels the time is right to come and live out the rest of his years with you. Could you come home immediately to collect him? Let me know if that's not possible.....I'll have to make other arrangements....

i am glad that i am not in australia at the moment as today i fixed my tumble dryer, defrosted my freezer, looked at highchairs in mothercare and had a pint of guiness whilst watching Phil "the power" Taylor shoot some "arrows"
