When you get to Siem Reap, besides the temples & Angkor Thom (hire a driver, aircon & guide and there's still two days worth) make sure you go to the floating village on Tonie Sap ( the ferry up the lake docks near but not close enough). See if you can spot the pig. Don't get put off the 14 year old helmsman & his 7 year old assistant, you get life jackets.

Watch out for the lady-boys in Thailand and make sure they don't offer to "love you long time" !!
Hope the trip as a whole is going well - no doubt you are having the time of your lives!

Hi - good to hear you're having lots of fun and great to follow it all in photos! Tried a new quiz last night at the Ha Ha bar in Muswell Hill (courtesy of Mog's organisation) however it was cancelled! Will follow tried and tested method in future at the Five Bells. Look forward to the next installment!

Hi guys, the descriptions are bringing back fond memories. Did you manage to accidentally order sweet and sour pork nuckle while you were there? It was an old favorite of mine. 140 Yuan for tea, it's free most places! Good to see you took it in good humor though.
Keep us up to date, it's interesting to experience what we did to everyone else. A little bit of roll reversal is always fun.

Hi Folks, Very fascinating to see the sights through the eyes of people you know. Presumably you will have realised that the flavour of the local food will depend on who is spitting in the kitchen : it's got to go somewhere...! Eva K has been in touch to suggest a meal with MX folks on 6 Jan. This is all becoming a big Cemo club! Catch you later. Larry

Outstanding stuff guys. Now I know what it feels like to be sitting in a rain spattered London and turning green with envy. Glad everything is working out well so far and that you have managed to stare out a Chinaman by now. I will keep a track of you. Take care, your buddy Byrne

This looks amazing.
Give me an idea of your next moves in Asia so that I can try to come and meet you somewhere.

Just thought I'd see if you'd moved yet on your website, and must say am very jealous (you'll get a lot of that from me over the next ten months!!). Beijing sounds really cool and crazy - keep up the good descriptions.
May have to look at your updates regularly, as am now working for oral exams next month (yeay!), so am constantly looking for good work-avoidance activities! Speaking of which, I ought to get back to work (Claire's still in bed - alright for some!). Have a great time in Hong Kong - the food's meant to be great (but Stu, make sure you guard that credit card, apparently there are shops there too!)

Hi Stu and Amy, hope you are both enjoying the initial stages of your big adventure together, hope you do not feel too guilty thinking of us plebs back in the UK sitting in a cold office on a Friday afternoon wishing we were where you are. Have a great time together, enjoy every moment and stay safe, be in touch again soon.
