Well done Steve-o and congratulations on having BALLS OF STEEL!! That was some feat going from just above sea level to nearly 6000m in just over a week.
Great pictures, great blogging and keep up the good work. Your making us very jealous here.

PS.. There is a bad-ass cafe in Banos that does the best meals, cookies and cakes, they have a bookswap and show movies in the evening. Its will be in your guide book but if not, follow your nose.
Enjoy

Good to see you enjoying yourself but a bit of a bummer about the toes. I am sure that the antibiotics will be fine with the caipirinhas!
Hope you have a great time in the Amazon and watch out for the tarantulas in the holes at the side of the paths... They are fecking huge there!
Take care and safe travels

Stevo,
You are living it up mate....!!! Well done. I can take some solace in the fact that I have visitied one of the only countries that you might not have been to last week.... JAPAN.
It was an awesome experience too and definitely a place I would recommend anyone go see.
It looks like you are having a great time though so I'm totally jealous but I know you will do us proud and enjoy many of the local soups that I hear are extremely tasty in that part of the world. If you get a chance to get to Mexico City, please spend some extra time there for me as I miss this place very much...!!! And remember to have lots of raspberry soft drink. This will help with erection problems......haha
Catch ya old buddy
